Temporary Staffing Services
TCG provides Temporary Staffing Services, where we hire employees and assigns them to clients to support or supplement the client’s work force for such things as employee absences, temporary skill shortages, seasonal workloads, and special assignments and projects. Temporary staffing is probably the oldest and largest contributor to the evolution of flexible staffing. Today, temporary staffing services comprise more than 60% of the estimated $40 billion staffing industry.
These services are provided by TCG where the client has a desire to have TCG to manage a specific facility, function, or functions on an ongoing basis. In these instances we have the sole responsibility for providing the work to be performed, and monitoring the results and output of the employees at the facility that are performing the function.
Payrolling involves an arrangement where the client recruits and “ensures the capabilities” of the worker, and then asks TCG to hire individuals and “assign” them to the client.
Permanent Placement Services
TCG screens, interviews, and qualifies individuals who meet the needs and background of a fulltime position within a client company.
“Temp-to-Hire” combines the services of Temporary Staffing and Permanent Placement. TCG identifies and qualifies individuals who meet the needs of a specific position within a client firm, and are interested in full-time work. After the best individual for the position is identified, the employee is assigned to the client for a trial period of time so the client can evaluate the worker. At the end of the trial period, the client will make a determination as to whether or not to “permanently hire” the worker.
TCG provides employees to the client for a work on long-term or indefinite assignments. This service is used often where clients have long-term contractual obligations or long-term research and development projects.
TCG provides a service where the client company places all of its existing employees on our payroll .This service appeals to mostly small and mid-sized companies who find it cost-effective to use a professional employer rather than provide their own human resource departments, and be able to provide more employee benefits and/or benefits at a lower cost.
